March Art Detour Features:
Arizona Plein Air Painters descend upon downtown Phoenix and First Studio Gallery to paint it as they see it! Starting at 4 pm, artists will be painting around the town...and at 5pm the reception begins to show off the full color documentations of life in the Phoenix Valley through paintings hung in the First Studio Gallery.
The show will feature a sampling of the talent of the APAP (Arizona Plein Air Painters) throughout the halls of the historic First Studio located at 631 N 1st Ave, Phx, 85003 in the heart of downtown.
Works by co curators @Kris Kollasch and Ellen Nemetz will fill the upstairs gallery.
Meet the artists, see the new works freshly painted, and share in snacks and beverages. It's Art Detour, It's Friday, it's a good thing!

ABOUT
The Historic First Studio was home of the first TV and Radio station in Phoenix, KPHO and the Wallace and Ladmo Show.
Now owned by Randy Murray Productions, it houses several company still tied to the video and film industry along with other creative companies. And with over 200 feet of gallery space nestled throughout Phoenix's historic First Studio, this is the perfect place to catch interesting art, entertainment and culture. Artist and curators Kristine Kollasch and Ellen Nemetz coordinate approximately 7 different shows a year featuring the art of dozens of local artists annually.
Not only is the art always exceptional, but the space itself holds a richness worth experiencing. And, it's always Free and Open to the Public on First and Third Fridays!
