Happening Now / Artist Activity
The Four Seasons Orchestra will be performing our Mozart & Friends Concert on Saturday January 20th, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Our guest solo artists will include The Rice Brothers, Chris and Johnny, on piano and cello; Rina Kubota violinist, Audrey Wang violist, and Tyler Clifton-Armenta clarinetist. They will be performing works by Wolfgang Mozart, Anton Hoffmeister, and Frederick Chopin. Carolyn Waters Broe will be conducting. This concert will take place at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church, at 6300 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, Arizona. This concert is free to the public. A limited number of VIP tickets will be sold in advance at our website, and at the door for 15 dollars each. This will be part of our 26th anniversary season. The Mozart & Friends Concert is part of our "Young Artists Series" featuring the winners of our competition.
ABOUT
The Four Seasons Orchestra of Scottsdale, Arizona is an all professional chamber orchestra. We perform classical, Baroque and Contemporary music. We perform public concerts, chamber music, school concerts, festivals, and private events. The Four Seasons Orchestra was nominated in two Grammy categories in 2000 for "Best Small Ensemble" and "Best New Composition". We were also nominated for the Arizona Governor's Arts Awards for 2003 and 2004. The Four Seasons Orchestra is directed by Carolyn Waters Broe. She conducted the Four Seasons Orchestra on their tour of Austria in 2009 at the Haydn Festival at Esterhazy Palace and at the Konzerthaus in downtown Vienna. The Four Seasons Orchestra is a non-profit 501 C3 organization in Arizona. We help to give young solo artists a chance to perform with a live professional orchestra with our "Young Artists Concert Series". We have also given may youth concerts for school students, and public concerts.
