ABOUT
Nicole Williams, born 1990, is a self-taught painter based in Arizona. Her artworks are acrylic-based on canvas in gestural, abstract expressionism style. As an emerging artist, her practice is based in pushing the possibility of line and color experimentation, to express spirit—of nature, self, and experience. Her unique color palette and evolving technique lends to a surreal realm of presence and awareness—where the viewer can explore varying depths of field. Within the energetic, gestural layers lies an expressionist, lyrical style, evoking physical space and freedom—here she feels free to explore.
